  • 2 cups                    Ground Whole-wheat Biscuits
  • 1 cup                      Ground chocolate biscuits
  • 150g                       KDD unsalted butter, melted
  • Pinch                      Ground cinnamon

  Chocolate sauce:

  •  200g                      Dark chocolate, melted in water bath (Bain-marie)

  Ice-cream layer:

  • 1 pack (1 liter)                      KDD vanilla ice-cream
  • 1 pack (1 liter)                      KDD chocolate ice-cream

  For decoration:

  • ½ cup                     Ground toasted unsalted Hazelnuts
  • Ready to use Chocolate syrup
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground biscuits, cinnamon and KDD butter until they come together into consistent dough. Press with fingers the dough into loose-base mini tart moulds. Refrigerate until use.
  2. Prepare the chocolate sauce. Melt the dark chocolate in a saucepan set over a pot of simmering water (Bain-marie), whisking continually until smooth. Brush the tart moulds with the melted chocolate.
  3. Using the ice-cream scoop, place 2 scoops of KDD vanilla and chocolate ice-cream into each tart case and decorate the tops with swirls of chocolate syrup and sprinkles of crushed hazelnuts.
