  • 1 cup - Chickpeas, boiled or canned
  • ½ Cup - Fried pine nuts for garnish
  • 1 tsp - Garlic, crushed
  • 2tbsp - KDD butter
  • 2tbsp - KDD Olive Oil
  • 2 cups - KDD Full Cream Yoghurt
  • 2 cups - KDD Royal Yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp - Tahina (Sesame sauce)
  • As needed - Salt and pepper
  • 2 cups - Pita bread cut into small squares, fried or roasted
  • 1 cup - Finely minced meat
  1. Drain the KDD Full Cream Yoghurt and KDD Royale yoghurt in a very fine sieve then mix together with salt, garlic, tahina and lemon juice.
  2. Add the KDD Olive Oil and the KDD butter to a frying pan over medium heat, fry the pine nuts till they become gold, remove and put them on a Kitchen towel paper. In the same oil and pan, stir in the minced meat till cooked, add salt and pepper. Set aside 
  3. Drain chickpeas of any excess water, and place them in a round tray, cover them with a layer of fried or roasted bread, then pour  in the  yoghurt mixture and top with the cooked meat and fried pine nuts. To be served immediately
