Hot Milk Cake

Ingredients
  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 tsp Powdered cardamom
  • 2 ¼ cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 ¼ tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 ¼ cups KDD full cream milk
  • 1 ¼ 100 grm packs KDD unsalted butter (100g), softened
  • ½ tsp Saffron
Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, beat together the eggs and sugar with hand electric mixer for 5 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and cardamom and then pour gradually into the egg mixture, beating continually on low speed until uniformly combined.
  3. Heat KDD milk with saffron and KDD butter. Add the milk to the cake batter and stir to combine well.
  4. Lightly grease a baking mould and dust with flour. Pour the cake batter into the mould. Bake in hot oven on 180C for 30-35 minutes.
  5. Let the cake cool completely and serve.
